Default what gearbox oil and how much needed?

can anyone tell me what gearbox oil i need and how much 4 a 95 wrx import?-cheers

75w-90 Castrol Syntrax , 4 litres iirc although you can choose from any of these 75w-90 Gear oil

Race Lubricants | Oil and Lubricants for Motoring Enthusiasts .I bought castrol syntrax from this place a lot cheaper than opie oils and carriage was free £8.39 for a litre bottle and thats including vat

3.5 ltrs on a drain and refill - 4.0ltrs if the box has been striped and rebuilt.

another vote for syntrax, very good oil and worth the money. 4 litres is correct.
fill the gearbox to 1 cm above the full mark. this offers better protection for 3rd gear and has no negatives. ive run both my scoobies like this for years.

4 to 5 litres of 75W90 GL4 or GL5 spec transmission oil

I am a bit worried i got Castrol Syntrax 75w/90 Universal GL4 but on Autodata they recommend 75W/90 GL5. Have i bought and used the wrong one

If it is syntrax or 'universal' which I think it is called now, it will be fine.
