Question front brake pads catching on wr1 in full lock HELP!

hi i have a wr1. i have the godspeed grooved disks and kevlar pads. brakes work fine and arent warpped.

when i reverse off my drive in full left hand lock my drivers side front pads catch my disk, making my car stop rather quickly. its an even catch all the way round, not just in certain places on the disk.

i have previously had problems with warped disk on the drivers side, that was diagnosed from pads not running free enough causing disk to over heat. also rebuilt front brembo calipers as piece of mind.

the front brake doesnt catch forward or in reverse in any other lock, only in left lock whilst reversing.

cannot feel any play in wheel bearing, neither does it sound noisey.

i know you get a certain amount of drag from 4wd in full lock, but its definately the brake catching because if you go round in reverse in a circle in full lock for a min or so the pad starts to squeek louder.

any help is greatly appreciated,

thanks

I had problems with my stone-guard thingy catching at certain lock angles. It's not that is it?

Im pretty sure its not, but i will double check.

When i got the car 2 years ago i noticed a thud when i reversed off my drive in left full lock as i dropped off a 1 inch curb. So i got my tracking/camber checked and the camber was a mile out on the front drivers side which cured that problem. The wheel was tryin to work its self away from the car.

Just thought id mention every possibility of problems that could of contributed to wear on other parts causing this

Yeah I think so. I just battered the shield back with a hammer - might just take them off next time calipers are off.
