turbo inlet pipe
Anyone know the best way to fit a turbo inlet pipe without removing the manifold, ive got the old one off but just cannot slide the new one in.

right i had a spilt standard inlet pipe and didnt want to removed the inlet,
i brought a silicone inlet pipe off ebay and i used loads of grease and forced it though the whole,i got the in the end it is very stressing but worth it,
i paid £70 for my pipe but japspeed does them for £80 deliverd to the door and are a good fit.

Spent a hour trying to fit a 58mm intake pipe to mine without taking the manifold off and gave up in the end. Took it to a mate of mine and he managed to get it on in the end through perseverance

As Si2000 says, removing the manifold takes all the guesswork, grease and brute force out of the job. It also gives you the opportunity to check the top of the engine for any other items needing attention. It's the better way to do it, period.
