20g 18g 16g

Can anyone tell me what the differance is between a 20g,18g,16g? & where do they fit is it exhaust side or inlet side on the turbo?

the compressor housings are bigger, along with the compressor wheel, i believe the exhaust side remains pretty much the same throughout
