hks panel filter
are hks panel filters any good , im looking at getting one for my classic wrx, are they lifetime filters or throw away every service

Apparantly the hks doesnt flow very well, asked this very question to bob before mapping, needless to say there is a k&n panel in mine now

would i get any more power from an induction kit or is'nt there a lot in it !

The standard air box with a panel filter is the best option up to 350bhp, an induction kit below this will probably cost you power, although they do sound nice

I do not believe that HKS flow worst than the K&N unless someone can actually prove it..

Why not be different and fit a Cosworth filter. Fitted one to my old man's wrx and it appears just as good as the K&N I had fitted in mine.
They are available from Zen.

I think there was a test done somewhere between all the panel filters and genuine STI came out top a think, but there was not much in it and was a bit more expensive.
Put a K&N on mine and can't fault it.
