Default just bought another scooby

96 wagon in silver, 52k miles, mot failure on tyres, wipers and fog light


£971 paid (ebay hence price) needs a wing and a bit of paint on the sti skirts


good price?

runs fine, not sur eabut tax tbh as he drove it to me, not sur whether to spend a few ££ on it or break it

ill have a proper look at it over the weekend, ill change the wing from the saloon i am breaking (i assume they are the same) theres a few bodywork bits that need sorting (two dings) the skirts can be painted easily and the wipers/fog light can come off the saloon i am breaking, tyres are no problem.

with those miles and the interior being excellent car shold be worth double what i paid, or again may break it/use it for a while

It always amazes me that people quote the low mileages of these cars as if they have the remotest chance of being genuine.

It sounds like a good price, but cheap to buy does NOT mean cheap to run. But I think you know that already.
