head over to imprezasport.net

everything you could possibly want to know or do with a sport is on there.

bhp- only real mods are air filter/induction kit and a more freeflowing exhaust, and maybe a chip or remap

handling- turbo shocks and springs are a great mod for sports

You wont get much extra power out of a sport unfortunately even with an exhaust, map and filter your looking at about 140-150bhp, you are better going for 16 inch wheels, some nice 4 pot brakes and some uprated suspension, that will probably be enough, oh and dont forget to inform your insurance co! (acutally ask them first how much it will cost, at 18 it may be a little steep )

Nice one. If it were me I'd want some unequal headers and an exhaust, then you'll get that lovely Subaru burble. Some alloys, brakes and WRX body kit minus the scoop and vents. Don't be tempted to make it look like a turbo too much as the Sport is good in it's own right.

Get some pic's on.

I started with a 2000 sport in Blue Mica, I bought some 16" gold STI alloys and that was it... Yes it wasn't warp speed quick but did me for 3 years until part ex'd it in for a blob STI..

Speed isn't a route worth going down with the Sport. I've got myself a Green panel filter, 2.5" catback exhaust and a 4 branch unequal manifold and it feels no different at all to be honest, but it sounds great!

Just get it looking nice and handling and braking well and you'll have enough fun with it! Take a look at mine for some ideas if you want.

Keep your money in your pocket, concentrate on building up your no claims, then when you hit 25 or come into money (whichever comes first) bin the sport, and go out and buy performance.
