Bought my first scooooooooby!!!
So, as you may imagine im just a bit excited, I bought my first scooby today,
here she is, link to pistonheads advert the old owner posted..
Subaru : IMPREZA WRX V-LIMITED no988/1000
I got her in a swap for my mk4 golf Gti turbo
I have a question tho, whats a good brake upgrade to go for if your on a budget? its on factory brakes with upgraded pads at the moment and they just arent doing the job imo
Any ideas?

hi pal. Welcome to scoobynet. Nice car you bought there ..I'm on my third scooby now and I'm still excited. Love these cars. Have you got four pots on the front with 2 pots on the rear. If not get some from a type r or type ra. Mine are good with updated pads.

Nice car mate love the wheels if you can afford them go for new age sti brembo s because when you start to mod your car you can up grade discs to performance friction 2 piece etc good luck

Very nice mate. Gotta agree with you about the early brakes though, you could get 4 pots of a version 3 car onwards or Brembos, depends what your budget is, though any of these would be a massive improvement
I fitted a set of 2002 4-Pot Subaru calipers and Black Diamond grooved discs up front, made a massive difference in braking performance (decent pads help).
Very easy to fit as well, just make sure you get some copper slip grease on the back of the pads and any moving components to stop any squeaking noises - took me about a day to fit the front ones including bleeding the brake fluid.
