Does your windows rub against smething?
got a classic and the front windows seem to rub and scratch when i open them.... makes a squeaky noise.. any idea what that might be..??
i hadd my tint done and after a few days i saw it got a long around 3 inch curvy vertical scratch...
do i need to take the door trim off and clean it?? looks like there is a sharp metal in there///
thanks

There are some guides that hold the glass in place as they wind down, if you take your door card off you should see them... it's possible that the padding fitted on the guide itself may be worn away.

Sounds like you all need some new guides... simple enough to fit they simply screw onto the mounting points within the door frame/skin.

No sorry I don't not for that... the dealer should be able to tell you though, I have heard it called a guide and also a slate they should know what it is from that. They are on both new age and classic as the window is free running with no surround.

We are talking of approx 1cm wide scratch on the glass that curves slightly as it goes up the window ?
