Question

I have yet to see an Impreza buyers guide as such (suprising EVO magazine haven't done one really, given their bent for Scooby's!) -can anyone point me in the right direction or offer advice on what to look for, apart from the usual that you would check with any used motor? What area's are most prone to wearing-out, corrosion, failure etc?

Cheers,
Ian

I think EVO will have something either in the next issue (due out today?) or the one after. I believe several members of the BBS helped EVO with the article.

Performance Car did one, I think it was about their 5th last issue. Unfortunately my copy is sitting at my parents house (300 miles north) but someone around here probably has one kicking around that they could scan in for you.
As Dark says Evo were working on one, so it will be more up to date, when it appears.

Aftet recently selling my Scooby, Im still getting calls each day even after 2 weeks of the car being sold. Most of the people call are very new to the Scooby scene and ask for advice when ive told them mine is sold, Ive been forwarding alot of people to Steve Lawson who is more than happy to look at cars for people.

I think it would be a great idea if someone like Steve put a listing or compiles some notes for people to read when looking to buy a car. The SIDC Website is great for this but needs some expansion into detail.
