This particular V6 had done 46k airfield stage miles, and still going strong. This car was used to teach LFB in FWD cars. Very impressed with its ability.
RWD Cossie scared the sh*t out of me on the mud/grass sections, especially as the boost would come in with a thump just as you were trying to negotiate a cone slalom on this surface at speed.
Another eye-opener was the difference between a car with ABS switched on and with it switched off. Truely scary
Being in the 4WD Cossie (~300bhp) as Pennti does a Scandi flick on the loose wet stuff was awesome, this guy can drive some
Cheers

Moray,
Yeah, well Pentti said "I think it is supposed to be 300bhp with the chip etc.". I.e. he wasn't sure. But did feel quick, especially during the overtaking demonstration.
I thought most of it *was* applicable to 4WD users too. Well, after each different part of the course, I would ask how exactly or how differently this would affect 4WD etc. and got all the answers I wanted.
Moray, very disappointed in your little trip around the course in your car, 1 out of 10.
Cheers

Having now done this day and don palmer's the wetter the better day, I would recommend the wetter the better day as a first priority for new scooby drivers... you learn a lot about 4wd in your own car. This lfb day isn't as applicable to 4wd as the mira day.
I would say the day is worth it if you don't already know LFBraking and want to find out from a guy who really knows it.
