havent drove my car for a week been to busy but took it out there and it wont boost over .5 bar even tho the boost controler is at 1.4 ?? i tryd turning it of an on didnt make a diff cheers

 

probably the boost solenoid is stuck and it runs at wastegate pressure.
clean solenoid with brake cleaner.

 

what is it ill b looking for dont know wot it looks like cheers

 

0.5 bar is std booost with no boost control from the solenoid, have a look to make sure the pipe hasnt came of the wastegate.

Have alook on this thread as there are pictures of an early and late model boost solenoid, it should be on the driver side suspension turret.

 

had a look there couldnt see any loose pipes took it for a spin and fiddled with the controler its a hks one dont no how to work it realy but got it to boost on 3 settings 0.5 /1/1.4 when i set it at o.5 thats where it boosts to when i set it at 1 it boosts to 0.75 on the gauge and then 1.4 only boosts to 0.5 so am a bit confused it doesnt even feel like it has a turbo at 0.5 the solenoid has no pipes going to it just wires!!!

 

ok fiddled again got it set for 1.6 bar on the controler and its boosting to 1.2 now does it sound like the controler coud b fooked

 

Give the boost control solenoid a clean out and check to see that the restrictor is still in the pipe work.
