Default Audi TT softtop

Had a play with an Audi TT on the M62 last night. He over took me then pulled over and 4 way flashed me, so I re-took him and booted it - we were neck and neck till I got to 150 on my speedo(about 143 on sat nav), when he just rolled on past! Had a run in with a BMW 35d a couple of weeks ago too - obviously the season for it!
The morale appears to be don't play on Dual carriage-ways/motorways with cars that have a higher top speed!

You didn't just admit to doing 140+ on a public road did you

If on a private road I would be surprised if a hair dresser mobile like a TT could stay with a newage STI. They are ****e, my 350z used to wipe the floor with the TTs and my 06 STI is quicker again. What are you driving?

The 225bhp has a 0-60 mph time of 6.4 seconds and manages 151 mph, 3.2-litre V6 247bhp 0-62mph in 6.1 seconds (5.9 with S-tronic) Top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.

Neither should have cruised past you in standard form, wonder what the 3.2's top whack is with the limiter removed?
