Default newbie - midlands

After having looked at the site recently I thought I better get involved!

Brought by first scooby a few months ago - 53reg STI PPP. Absolutely love it, so much more fun than my previous cars - porsche boxster, lotus elise!

Heen driving hard, hence now looking to replace brakes and upgrade. Have spoken to Alyn at AS Performance and prob getting some PF discs and pads etc. On looking at other peoples experiences these seem the way to go!

I live in Stourbridge in the midlands. Are there any other scoobies close to me? If so do you know of any good specialists in the area (prob to fit the above brakes at a good price!). Any local meets organized?

Many thanks

Thanks for the replies guys!

Shadower - another vote for the PF discs then! Thanks for the offer of the help, may take you up on that as my technical knowledge is a bit limited! By the way, do the brakes affect your warranty or is it just the brakes that won't be covered?

DLP - don't see many subaru's around stourbridge, although I work towards Bridgnorth so end up driving out that way most of the time. Are there any subaru specialists tucked away in this area?

Staffi - thanks for the invite. let me know if any local meets are going on.

Will hopefully upload my pics/profile when I have a mo over this week.

Dale

i think it is just the brakes not covered
they are good but you have to get them hot to bed them in and they get better after use
who you buying them off
on the local garages all i can say is all my work is carried out @ zen performance wellingbourgh a bit of a run but well worth it to know the jobs right

I spoke to Alyn at AS performance who seemed to do me a good deal. Will PM you. Heard of Zen performance, may be worth a drive, not a hardship!
