Driving along behind an 03' M3 this morning. He clearly wanted to play - we were in stop start traffic and everytime things cleared in front of him he was off like a whippet with its bum on fire whilst checking his mirror to see if I was going for it too. Ignored it until found myself pulled up behind him at a roundabout both turning right onto an empty dual carriageway. Then....well, rude not to ay!
Would love to say I stayed with him, but nah. Right on his bumper round the roundabout and thru 1st and 2nd, but once the Beemer got into it's stride in third gear he was pulling away. Not at all suprising as mine is just a bog standard WRX at the moment bless it! (Saving hard for the mods )
Wonder how an STi would've done.

Bit of fun though. Clear road, sunshine, plus me and my mate ended up alongside the fellas in the M3 again a bit further up the road and everyone was grins and thumbs up. Part of the fun of driving a half decent car I reckon.
Happy days! Made a change from the usual a***holes with a point to prove getting nasty about it, spitting their dummies out and driving so badly they're a danger to you, themselves and others.

 

Glad you enjoyed it. It is what car ownership should be all about. Fun in reasonable locations and conditions.

My m8ts got an m3 and once he gets in to 3rd its bye bye.

Had some traffic light fun with an evo fq360. 1st and 2nd pretty even, then into to 3rd and he pulled away.
