Default Tyre Pressure help please

My tyres on my scoobie ive just brought are 215/40/17 what should the ideal pressure be ?

As just been to check them and at the mo they at 37psi ? that seems high to me.

i run toyo proxes t1r 215/40/17 on my uk classic mate and have generally found that 34 front and 32 rear presures run best for me. unless someone points out that running different pressures front/rear is bad, il probably keep these going when i check the tyres...

Although mine are 45 profile, car door label says 33 F, 32 R. But i run 34 F and 32 R. My own silly reasons i changed to 34, not sure why actually? LOL.

Whiteline recommend 37psi at the front and 35psi for the rear. Improves handling and evens out tyre wear. This is what I use and IMHO I think it works..
