Classic Impreza with cruise control

Can you clear up an office argument.

Did Subaru fit cruise control to Classic Impreza's. The car in question is a MY98 UK Turbo S reg.

Or was it available as retro fit?

Nope.

It will be an aftermarket system.

yes they did I looked at buying a JDM WRX with it. IIRC It looked like a genuine factory install. Only one I've seen though.
