Question Went to Surrey Rolling Road today ...

... have a guess what power (bhp & ft2 torque) I've got.

Car is to the left & is a standard JDM STi Spec C ie as it rolled off the boat. No remaps etc. Totally standard at the mo. Use Tesco 99 to fill up, doesn't seem to misfire

TX.

OK here we go (I'll post the graphs when I can get them scanned in):

298hp (294bhp) @ 6500rpm with at least 280hp between 5000rpm & 7500rpm.
298ft2/torque @ 4750rpm.
1.4 bar of boost @ 4500rpm.
233hp (230bhp) at the wheels.

Charlie did say it was "over fueling"? Perhaps that's why the power is down

What makes you think the power is down; that's bang on the money for a standard car? Yes fuelling will be a little excessive but careful optimisation of this and many other parameters will produce a little more power

Hi Zak

Are you still ok for next Monday AM when I'm booked in? I have got the day off work so no need to drive me back to Harlow.

Thanks

Russell.

Only 50 notes which = VFM in my book. Charlie rattled through it talking non stop so was pretty informative too.

Mocom - I assumed power was down as the guesses were around 310-320bhp. Charlie also guessed that it would be 310bhp ish before the run.

300bhp/300ltb thats bang on the button.

With them being lightweight people tend say 330bhp/330ltb instead of.....

"it's 300bhp/300ltb but it weight's 100kg lighter then an sti so equals 330ish" as you can see the 2nd option is a little long winded hence the nice and short 330/330

Bring on bob rawle thats all i can say
