Got a Saxo you're selling, then ?

Alcazar

Forgot to say: car looks the nuts. IMHO, this is the way to go until you can get insurance at a reasonable price on a Turbo. For some reason, young drivers now are more comfortable driving older cars with the performance, paying nearly as much to insure it as the car is worth.

You should have seen my Mk1 Escort: 100% rally car, until you looked under the bonnet, and saw the 1100 engine, or took a wheel off and saw the drum brakes But hey, I liked it and it was peanuts to insure

Compos would be cool but I think the 18s only come in 8" width which some have said is to wide for classics and buggers handling.

Surely every single change including the alloys stickers etc etc that you listed must be declared to the insurer, making it as much as insuring a turbo in the first place

ner trust me even with all the mods declared it wouldnt be as much as turbo insurance, im 21 with 2 years no claims 4 years driving and the best quote i can get is £1350 fully comp, for a sport it would be around £800.
I really like this car mate, seen it on a few sites now, one of the best looking sports out there imho

Cheers for the comments,

As i said, fell in love with it, and flamer kit will probably be going!

As for insurance, i am 21 with 0NCB, no claims/points and i have a quote for just over £900, buit for a turbo i'm looking at £3k+ so will get the no claims up and get a WRX later on.

LOVE the flat 4, it is the simple reason for me buying the car, sad isn't it haha!

Looks nice! Good to see more Sports and WRX's popping up on this site, there was a phase when I thought it was full of STI snobbery but that seems to be going now.
Strange choice for the username though if you're getting the Scoob that soon.

He is only 19 and has a Scooby Sport along with a 300+ BHP TT Supra, madness haha!

Wish i could afford one of those :P
