Now this has me stumped..
Installed BT Business Broadband software on my laptop to test out a friends connection but can't find an option to uninstall. Modem was the BT220V version.
No uninstall option on the start menu list
No uninstall option in the program files directory
No BT software on the control panel 'add/remove programmes' list
Now I know why I didn't go with BT
Any thoughts?
Thanks

why do you need to uninstall ?
'why do you need to uninstall ?'
I've enough unrequired crap on my laptop without adding to it..
Can't say as I'm happy having a programme like this that seems to have an invisible grasp on my laptop.

Just phoned their tech help - couldn't help, gave me another number which turned out to be a fax machine.
And BT wonders why they're losing customer

Just glad I'm not a BT customer beyone line rental

I really wouldnt let it bother you
start run MSNCONFIG check the start up, if its not there, forget it
I've had to do this before and it took a long while to find out how. BT tech support is a bit of a lottery. You need to get through to the one guy that knows how to uninstall it.
Unfortunately it was a while ago and I can't quite remember. I'm almost certain you need to run setup with a parameter. It's something like "setup -remove" or "setup -uninstall" or "setup -u".
Sorry I can't give you more info. From what I remember though it is mostly a driver, a few start menu options and a couple of icons so you could manually remove them.
