What is the best VGA box...
for PS2/Xbox connection to a 15" LCD monitor? Found these:
Playstation 2 / Ps2 VGA Adapters
but there seem to be a few different types and price ranges and don't really see what the differences are between them.

I went through this a couple of months ago - and weighed up the X2VGA and the VDigi VD-Z3... as the latter was more generic (and could be used with more devices, like DVD players, etc.) I went with it...
...only to discover, once it arrived, that the projector I wanted to use it with had awful support for 720p or 1080 - so I had to buy a new projector, which had all the connections I needed out-of-the-box.
So - I've got a virtually new (probably had 30mins of use) VD-Z3 if you're interested - which I imported from Hong Kong myself (see www.vdigi.com). You can have it for a sensible price if you're interested....

Cheers Shades, definately very interested but have no idea how much they cost so can you tell me what you want for it (by pm if you prefer)? I've just bought a logic3 vga box from maplins but by all accounts they are cr4p but it has a 14 day money back guarantee on it so it will tide me over until I get something better.

i got one from maplin logitc3 is the make but its crap makes the screen to dark and lines runing down the screen. But i got one from gamestation for the xbox 360 and thats great as it comes with a 2way female bit

Yep the Maplin was utter turd and is going back tomorrow. The VD-Z3 unfortunately wont be any good for my needs as its progressive scan only and I want to be able to play all ps2 games, not just hd capable ones so need a device that does interlaced output.
Any more suggestions on which vga box?
Only other thing I can think of is a monitor with rgb/scart connection but thats a little expensive for a solution and wastes the current lcd I have.
