Last Thursday was one of the worst days of my life but i got away with my car unlike my two good friends who lost both there cars.

another Escort RST both in amazing condition.
A Capri 3.0.
an old jag.
My Sapph was the only one un tuched and we rescued it on friday night took an hour to remove all the brick put the supension back on and drive it out one lucky acape(sp) for my car.
BUT i feel empty inside and so sad for my mates who have last there cars.

bloodyhell it looks like if all the motors had been put on the otherside or the middle they may have escaped with just a few knocks........must be gutting to walk in and see that ! especially v rare ones that a really low mileage or have been owned for years

I feel gutted and there not mine.
Some rare cars there indeed.
Better not show my sisters otherhalf..........Ford man to the bone!! He'll shed a tear or two.
Insurance is one thing but how can you replace them? Poor sods.

Just read this same thing on another forum... think everyone has a place in their heart where they appriciate the 'Fast Fords' of the past.
Such a shame, but as said.. Metal can be reshaped/restored, Lives cant.. lucky their was no injuries.

At least the Saab 900 and the tractors are ok (but i am a Swedish farmer)LOL.
In all seriousness though,they must be gutted as it doesn't matter whether they were insured or not,some things are not easily replaced irrelevent of how much the insurance pays out!!
