Default enough to make grown man weep....

I found this on another forum. Its very grim reading.
Last Thursday was one of the worst days of my life but i got away with my car unlike my two good friends who lost both there cars.

The Barn

My Mates Concours Cortina 1600E

My Mates Escort RST 40,000 miler D plate very rare.

:crying:

Also Lost was an

Escort Cosworth
another Escort RST both in amazing condition.

A Capri 3.0.
an old jag.

My Sapph was the only one un tuched and we rescued it on friday night took an hour to remove all the brick put the supension back on and drive it out one lucky acape(sp) for my car.

BUT i feel empty inside and so sad for my mates who have last there cars.

Not one mark totaly untouched i feel lucky but very very sad.

Jesus.

It's ok, they seem to have all been Fords. I thought there was a serious loss here for a moment

Just read this same thing on another forum... think everyone has a place in their heart where they appriciate the 'Fast Fords' of the past.

Such a shame, but as said.. Metal can be reshaped/restored, Lives cant.. lucky their was no injuries.

At least the Saab 900 and the tractors are ok (but i am a Swedish farmer)LOL.

In all seriousness though, they must be gutted as it doesn't matter whether they were insured or not, some things are not easily replaced irrelevent of how much the insurance pays out!!
