done the EVO VIIII so far - they loved it but pointed out the very high running costs and insurance - 20 mpg and 4000 mile interval servicing - but boy was he smiling driving it...

Scooby - better interior but worse driving position - once again big smiles whilst driving it but acceleration delivered differently...also high running costs as with EVO...

they claimned it was the WRX but also said it had 280bhp??? - it looked like an 06WRX but could have been an STi with a WRX spoiler.

he ultimately went for the EVO (he had an £18k budget - both were a few months old) - fairly predictable I suppose but they really couldn't split them...

Did anybody else think that the cars were slightly mismatched?

I know they are limited by money but surely a PPP STI would have been a better match.

Fair enough, didn't spot that. I thought it was a WRX or something similar. It does seem very cheap though!

Yeah way too cheap.... if so I have 2 please.

I like the fact they had a brand new 997 porsche up for 19,995, that car is approx £60,000 new!!!!

I think he did say that for £20k you would have to buy a 993 porsche... oh well only 12+ years old.

Yeah, totally agree. I'm not too sure about Mike Brewers knowledge at all. He failed to spot a lemon a couple of weeks ago and his mate showed him what he missed. The chassis ID had been ground away and a new (dodgy) one stamped in. I thought stuff like that was "bread and butter" to people like him.

Craig.
