when i take off throught 1st , 2nd then 3rd it slips at about 5k revs

but when i am just driving and put the foot down in 3rd its fine

is this just the tyres or is the clutch in need of upgrading

I take it that it happens in 4th and 5th too? Sounds like the clutch is on it's way out.......

A decent upgraded organic clutch is best for road use . It will handle that power easy and maintain useability

Think about lightening the flywheel at the same time too, one of my best mods IMO
