Default Recommended dealers

Please can people recommend Subaru dealers who have been helpful and/or not tried to rob them of all their hard-earned? Particularly I'd be interested in ones who are helpful with imported motors. Apologies if this has been done before.

would be handy if you tell us your location.
I used Holdens in Widnes,no probs with mine being a MY 05 Malta import.Haven't asked them about PPP though, might ask them in August when it goes for its second service.

I'm in the West Midlands but I was intending it as a thread for people to recommend dealers throughout the country for everyone's benefit.

Strangely enough, have no real complaints about Haddocks . Was not exactly plain sailing, but bought mine fm them . . .. . .The real sh*tes, IMHO are to be found down in London . . .Steer clear of Hunt + Keel . . .Not only will they try to rob you, but also have the attitude like they're a Bentley dealer . . .

Never had a problem with SGT in Taplow. The car is always returned cleaned and they offer 10% SIDC discount.

I wouldn't use Marlborough in Isleworth again.

I found Haddocks ridiculously expensive and felt that they couldn't really give a **** about the car.

Now go to Special Scoobys in Colchester, much cheaper & much better attitude.

why should it be locked? no different to a "recommend a specialist " thread oh wait it's because it's about dealers and we all know how biased scoobynet is.

What is "potentially libellous"?
Libel is a very complicated part of the law. The general concept is that anything that cannot be proved by hard fact which could be considered damaging to a company or individual may be libellous.

What may be considered to be potentially libellous, is something where the above applies and ScoobyNet itself does not have the hard facts to prove without doubt that what is being said is accurate.

Due to legal complications that ScoobyNet could be considered liable for libellous comments posted by users, we have to show a continued and consistent practice of due-diligence which protects us against potential legal action.

This means deleting / editing posts containing this kind of material and taking every action reasonably possible to stop it being posted in the first place. For this reason, ANY potentially libellous content may be deleted immediately without warning or explanation.

. . .

I do not make the rules . .

ha ha it's the consistent bit that i like when ever a thread come on about a dealer it gets banned to a dark place never to be read again but when a specialist thread comes on well thats different..........

i see from the search function there was a thread asking exactly the same question about specialists in february.... no mention of that one getting locked!

i watch and wait..........
