Question

Does the speedo die at the same time?

If so, it's probably just a loose connection. Mine does it often over bumpy roads, so I'll have it checked out at the next service.

XRS - no it doesn't. So far it's only come on twice - once while weaving from side to side while trying to retrieve a bottle of fanta from the floor in the back! The other time was "progressively" driving down the A3 late at night.

Anyone else got any ideas on what to do?

Jo

Cool

mine did that a couple of week's ago.turned out that it was an oxygen sensor.car did choke on it's own fuel. There was no power on the throttle.Rectified by taking it down to the garage.
Sorry do not know what the fix was.
hope this might help?

Mine did the same at about 30k, took it to garage for a check-up, no fault was found. Its never done it again, now on 45k. best check it out though to be safe.
