I'm glad serach is working Not that you'll find a definitive answer in there.

Different models years require different oil grades, I suggest you read your manual as you won't get any help from here

I would buy the MOST expensive you can possibly buy ..... after all, surely it MUST be worth all that extra money?? It MUST be doing some good?

I would IGNORE what SUBARU spent $Millions finding out and go with the 'experts' on here ..... SUBARU say Semi-Synthetic is OK, even the £15 for 5 Litre kind ................................ they are clearly deluded!!

But, of course, that is absolute crap!! What the hell do they know? They only designed the car - they didn't design the Oil!! Ha Ha .. so, what do you say to that Subaru??!!

The most expensive it is then ...... I have just gone into the business actually, of selling Oil, and I would recommend my Hydrocracked, Esther mixed, Polymide added, super duper deluxe extra special anti damage, 5W-60 Oil ..................

I will find some bollox that I can cut'n'paste to ensure that you trust what I say ........

Actually, it is YOUR lucky day Subaru Owners, I have a Special February Offer on at the moment ............ it's the same as the Xmas, Summer, Autumn, Easter and Bank Holiday Offer ....... but it IS still special!!!

The Oil comes in 3 Litre packs because Esther can only lift that amount (it's a legal thing and nowt to do with any kind of rip-off) .....

Anyway, the price will be £39:99 for 3 Litres + £9:99 P&P ........ what a special offer for a super duper special deluxe oil like this!!

Please do not buy Halfords oil, or Comma oil (same stuff) as its full of 'value molecules' that will eat away at your bell end and your propshaft will fall off, the oil consists entirely of 'good deal' fluid which will not last longer than 5 miles before it will destroy itself rendering your engine knackered.

This cheaper oil, with 'value molecules' is known in the Chemical Industry as Hydro-Crap Oil .....

So there we have it - the final definative statement from a new Oil salesman

Do ya' trust me? well do ya' punks????????????????

Pete

Whatever oil you use just make sure it's unsaturated not saturated.
You'll thank me one day.

PSL, if you’re not using 'Comma' anymore, can I have what you've got left?
I was thinking that perhaps (with your recommendation of course), it would be ideal to paint on my lawnmower blades; over the winter period.

Please, please, please use the search function. There seems to be an oil thread on here every day at the moment. In the 2 years that I have been a member, not once have I seen a thread of this nature come to a conclusion.
Why is it such a 'touchy' subject?? Get a life peeps!
