he sold a impreza sport wagon 2 months ago, funnily enough he was selling it a week later, think why that might be!!

if you are sure this is the car for you, definatly get it hpid (small hint) and also have it checked over by a good garage (AA, RAC do these I believe)

IMHO it looks horrible and for that money you could have a much better example, like this one on this site (a friend of mine was interested in this but bought another before even looking at it ) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...90#post5257990

I bet you would get it for £4k??

welcome to scoobynet by the way

Jamo

cheers mate. Just thought with it being so "different" it may well have been a members on here at some stage.

It defo has been looked after by someone, maybe not the guy who has it listed, the front and rear clusters must have cost a bit on there own, and the exhaust is awesome! defo a few quid in mods on it.

Being a complete newbie to scoobies, is there anything specific I should look for? also, what's the best way to tell for definate what model it is?

looks like a wrx to me. it could have had 10k spent on it, its still a K reg wrx. you can but a standard wrx saloon for around £2500 now, with the money you save you can make it your own to your taste.

I wouldnt touch that car with a barge pole personally!

£4500 for a 1992 car? That's way overpriced. Just keep an eye on the For Sale forum here and you should be able to find an good car owned by an enthusiast.

yeh, it seems OK, worn drivers side lumbar support the gear stick is sloppy, but gear change is spot on, starts no probs from cold, no dodgy smoke or out, generally looks and sounds fine.

Not paying the asking price, swapping for a celica that's worth about 1500 - 2000 plus a bit of cash.

thanks for the input anyway guys, oh and it is HPI clear.

well it's mine now, I was only asking if anyone had seen it around, not after people's opinions on what they think of it, but thanks anyway.

I'll keep in mind what you's have said, maybe tone it down a bit?
