Grant,

I paid about £80 but provided my own oil.

It should be the same price as the 7.5k since its the same service (I think).

Should be about £100

Dont ask Sunilp mind you he will go and tell you how you should not ask and just pay what the garage accountant tells you to !!!

So if it is £500 just think (as Sunilp does that you are getting a bargain and should also clean the boots of the garage owner as he has only stitched you up a little) the manager has of course to pay the extortionate prices charged by accountants!!

Ha Ha Ha !!!

Cool

Pete - oooohhh BITCH! Don't let Sunil catch you. Remember, you are keeping the warranty. How much do you care for it?

I thought the cam belt change was 45,000

The reason the 30,000 mile service is dearer is due to various additional fluid changes, e.g. gearbox oil, rear diff, radiator fluid, etc?
Plus a spark plug change - although there is some debate on whether these should be changed at 15,000 as well - some do some dont - I dont know as I have an import so no specific service schedule

My typical service costs £60 including VAT and includes oil filter (£5) and Silkolene oil (£40)- all 4.8 litres of it in my sti5 (not 4.5 litres - standard - which is a bit on the low side!)

Servicing is easy - I get my local garage to do it

OK then...

22500 is roughly the same as the 7500.

The cam belts do get changed at 45000 and intervals thereof.

The plugs get changed at 30000 and NGK reckon they would go 60000. Don't bother changing them at 15000. ALL fluids on the car are also changed, as is the fuel filter.

The service should take no more than an hour, excluding washing
