Any ex Scoobs drivers still here?
Hi All
Was thinking about this, because it applies to me!
How many ex-scooby owners still regulary post here?
I owned my last Scooby about 3 years ago, and i used to post here as WALKER.
My last Scoob was a White V5 Type R, running 305 bhp, due to to$$ers trying to break into my house at 3-30am i decided that the cars had to go(the wife had a P1)
So, in the last three years ive owned a Nissan Navara, TD 5 Disco and now my pride and joy Volvo V70R.
Mostly hang out in the Photography forum at the moment, but if anybody remembers me from the wild days of the Midlands runs, stop by and say hello!
Regards
Paul

Paul,
Doubt you'll remember me, but does this bring back any memories??
I think I remember you turning up to the car park....sideways
I've still got my '93 WRX, albeit with different wheels (obtained from Akira's V5 IIRC) and de-cat'ed these days.

Aargh yes, real fond memories
That was a great day, and as your web pages says. it was damn slippy in places. I think i did turn up sideways on the carpark, all adding to the fun. Do you remember the guy that took off on the hump back bridge ( which Kev and I did warn everybody about) and set off his airbags on landing
! Where did Akira disappear to?
Fondest Scoobynet memories:
The two midlands runs me and Kev organised, one of the first rolling road days at Powerstation( my 1st scoob, still listed on dynamite scoobies) The first Wales camping trip with Boomer and Charlie Whiskey, my 1st Donnington track day(how many times did i go into the gravel) The scoobynet christmas party in Broad Street Brum, the manic and very drunken Revolution bar in Derby! hic! Banzai magazine shoot where my clutch let go and all the times at Roger Clark Motorsport where i think i should have been on the wage list!
Real fond memories, and it all seems like ages ago!

Lo Paul,
I remember those days well, except maybe the Revolution bar
Akira - the only person to do a 360 at santa pod
Jase.
(The last remaining member of the midlands typeR club!)
Ps. I've found an awesome pipe holder for your Volvo

Hi ya Jase
Wow! i hope the pipe holder is constructed from titanium and carbon fibre, has it been bench flowed to allow the resting of the pipe stem to be secure when im in advanced sport mode
I think the only ones to remeber the Rev bar are the two Cheryls
See you at the weekend mate!
