Does anyone have some pics of a boost gauge that is fitted that does not look like a harry moss ad-on from Halfords. Not the central console with 3 dials, just a single gauge.

oooooohhhhhh Nice,

Could you tell us where from?, how much?, is it an easy fit? (I've looked under the bonnet and decided I don't want to go there!) and will it fit a MY96?.

Cheers,

P.

Bought it from GGR for just under £200. Fitting is a bit fiddly (yes, it fits a 97 - STI instuctions are in Japanese but easy to follow) and should take about an hour.

You have to drill two small mounting holes in the column cover. Templates are provided for new and early models. Its only three screws to get the cover off, easy to do. You can easily feed the rubber pipe through the grommet just behind the exhaust heat shield and attach to an existing manifold connector on newer models, or 'T' it in on older ones (all parts provided). You can pick up the feed for the dial illumination from the foglamp switch (purple with silver dots I seem to remember).

I find it very convenient, it does not block the view of any other instruments as you can see and it matches the other dials.
