I'll be in Devon again this weekend - I nearly always wave like a complete loon
Anyone else going down the A303 - Somerset are now using mobile cameras on there. Saw one for the first time just before the start of the Ilminster bypass at the end of the dual carriageway. Cunningly hidden in the long grass but the required mobile sign stood out well
Also watch the barstewards in Wiltshire on bridges and laybys. Not so much of a fun drive no more

I'm a Devon resident and would look out for you, but unfortunately will be lying on a beach in Portugal.

driving back along the A35 late at night came across a Police car in the middle of the road - turns out a herd of cows had got into the road and several cars had crashed into them. Not a pretty site
i'm sure we should start a campaign saying that speed cameras are against our human rights. if we want to drive at 100mph we should be able to without fear of penalty. i'm not saying that all roads should be limit free but with technology now the cars are far better at handling and the safety levels are far higher too.
must admit i wouldn't fancy hitting a cow or sheep at 5mph let alone anything faster. i remember a few years back in one of the rally's abroad one of the drivers, seinz i think hit a goat and it made a sick mess of the car. i think the goats head was still showing from under the grill as he finished the stage.
