No I wouldn't race with another Scooby. Keep up yes maybe, but race on the public highway, never.

Had a do at Ferrari bothering yesterday on the Leeds ring road. He started it, he was demonstrably accelerating away from a roundabout knowing I was behind him so thought I'd see how far away we were. Not very, is the answer. In an STi I'd have smacked his ****.

However, v. dangerous as I hit 80 momentarily in what is a 40 zone albeit devoid of pedestrians. OOps my mistake, I was horrified and I'm not proud or bragging. Won't be doing that again. I think Mr Ferrari reckoned the same too. But a really good looking motor, shame about the price tag.

Std UK MY00 DBM.

Oh, and yours is?

RST,

You have an Escort RS Turbo and you say the scooby is too common a sight on the road?!

Talking

That white car is an Impreza!

Ha, ha.

After waiting yonks I eventually saw your Escort. Splendid looking motor, I'll look out for you my man.

I'm afraid I'm not much up for racing but if you want to have a go cos you think your hard enough get yourself along to a track day event or something. Do a search on BBS user Stef, he does a bit (or did!) of track stuff. So far as I know you don't have to own an Impreza to join the SIDC. If you did it would be called the SIOC presumably!

Otis and Mossman you remind me of the Les Dawson and Roy Barraclough characters on TV.

Or a pair of nattering biddies like the Father Ted episode where Mrs Doyle literally fought with her friend about who was paying the bill in the tea shop!!!!

Got any spare pegs?
