Yep,my insurance went up by £100/year after my 2 week ban for doing 102mph. It then went up a further £300 for 3 points i picked up

My Insurance went up by £400 after my 2 week ban (126mph).

But when I went for renewal a majority wouldn't touch me for the STi

Anyway, so are you buying Scoob or not dbp?
My mate with Honda Civic (one of those fast ones) got banned for 28 days for doing 99 in 50.His insurence only went up by £120 and now he has got a Honda Prelude.He didnt think it was that bad although he dont wanna be banned again like!

Tell you what,check Liverpool Victoria.They have lot of sympathy for banned drivers I heard

Just speaking rhetorically, what if you were on the M11 late at night doing 120ish in your new car, and you got videod by another T5R. Do you just take it on the chin when it comes in the post, apologize for being a silly boy, or argue the point.

a ban id suggest............not worth fighting -unless you were perhaps taking your expecting wife to hospital

 

Didnt that fella get let off a ban as he proved that his car was built for that speed (about 140 i think!) and there was no one else on the road....may be bollocks of course.

 

In my experience (been nabbed doing over a ton 3 times )


Plead guilty just make sure you argue your case really well. Good road conditions, previous record, sole bread winner, car needed for work, position witihin company, recently moved away from family etc..

You also have the oppurtunity to plead hardship. But be carefull you are only allowed to do this on one occassion and you have to take the stand.

Cost me £400 for a good solicitor.... all three times!

im in court on friday got caught doing 114mph in my scoob that was about 1am just me on the road. That why i had 2 sell it got a 350z now hopfully my insurance dont go up that much c wat they give me

yes i got 1 im self employed so got 2 try and not get banned if i can help it c wat happens on the day only 5 days left till i go court

 

went 2day got a 21day ban and £100 fine luck or wat

 

That is good! i got done doing 147mph Hitting a roundabout and nearly killing myself and passenger! one year ban and 3000euro fine!! plus 3000euro fine from insurance to cover there %. 6 months left!! Willsy

 

Heck thats a big fine......im guessing this was on the continent?
