Default Wots involved MY97/98 IC onto a MY93

As above wots involed in doing this I take it the DV port on the right of the IC needs blanking off so that the OEM DV can be run, but does anthing else need hacking !!!!!

On an MY97/98 cooler you will need to cut off the dump valve elbow, in order to clear the idle control valve.
Also trim a small amount of the intake pipe wehre it joins the throttle housing via the thick dumpy hose.
You can also re-use the intercooler to turbo hoses to mount the DV, if you are lucky enough to have samco's from both the MY97/98 cooler and slanty Pre97 cooler.
A small amount of bulkhead massage may also be required to stop it rattling when driving.

See pics below of RobEvo5's car. As he done it last week.

Unhappy how u fit that ?

How did you get that IC to fit ? i have a IC off a 1999 model and will not fit in , way too big , hits bulkhead and also pipes underneath hit the stabliser bar mounting point...i found the only way it would fit is by changing inlet manifold.

You will need remove at least 5mm of material from the throttle body and from the TMIC outlet - you will also need to 'modify' the mount directly below either by cutting away or 'massaging' lol to gain clearance. I also fabricated my own mounting brackets - well worthwhile though

Cheers

Also how do you put pic on here as can show you the IC i have to see if you think is the same ?

Right what I now need to know is what scoop/undertray can I fit to my MY93 bonnet that will slot straight in, I have borrowed a 99 scoop but it will need mass cutting of the bonnet which I don't really want to do
