Supagard
Ha s anyone ever used Supagard? Is it worth doing? I have been offered it on my new scoob for £199. Or are there any other simular products out there that are better to protect the paint.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Not worth it mate, these kits cost £20/£30 and thats enough to do lots of cars and the customer just pays a massive mark up for somthing thats not that usefull. If you hand wash your car weekly/fortnightly and leather it off afterwards then you paintwork will stay in good condition.£200 buys enough Swissol to last a couple of years and they are the best products Ive used.

My dad just asked me the same thing. He's buying the old dear a brand new Honda Jazz, and the dealership have offered him a complete SupGard treatment for £395!! He asked me whether it's worth it. To me it's not (as i love polishing and waxing my car), but said i'd check it out for him.
All my questions answered I think.

Both the kits can be bought for between £20-£50, just check Ebay.
A good polish every 3mths will do a much better job on the paintwork.
I bought a car 2 weeks ago thats just over 2yrs old, has 10k on the clock and was SupaGuarded from new, the previous owner believed the hype unfortunately as it took me a few hours to get the showroom finish back this afternoon.
To sum up for a reasonable amount, say £100 I would say go for it. £395 is daylight robbery.
