Default Will Werkstat Acrylic Work over Supagard

Just a quick question from a confused Newbie on here.
I'm thinking of getting the Werkstat Acrylic kit for my Silver 03 STi, but when i bought it 5 months ago one of the deals i got with it (not knowing any better) was to have a coat of Supagard on it :cuckoo .
So will i have to remove the Supagard or can i just Clay it then apply the Kit or can i just apply the Acrylic kit straight over it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, from a shame faced scooby owner .

claying will remove what little supaguard is left. it doesn't really last anywhere near as long as they tell it you it does. i find that supaguard is a nightmare to work on top of. it streaks like mad and unless it's been on there lesss than 3 months. the owners normally agree to get shot of it and start to build up good layering of wax or acrylic products if it's been on there more than say 6 months.

it won't be a problem to wash the car and then use the werkstatt straight over the top.

keep in mind though if you've ever polished your car, the supaguard will have gone anyway. if that's the case, you might as well clay, polish and then get cracking with the werkstatt.

As above, the clay and Werkstat will strip what is left of the Supaguard, so no need to do anything else unless the paint looks like it needs a polish too. Probably won't after just five months mind.
