Thumbs up On Track. Nurburgring

Hi all

I received John's DVD last week - was jammy enuff to win it!

Im no good at reviews - but i thot id tell u all that its excellent!

The footage is really clear. The different camera angles are fun to watch to see how quick ur really going.

First lap is good for familiarisation.
Second lap John talks through the lines - why they are like that - what he finds at points on the circuit - theres a scrollin graphic that shows the lines to take through the corner - nice to see the gradients shown too.
On the rest of the laps, I found Johns commentary of the second lap in my head and u look to see that he is moving on the correct lines

Was surprised how much better than downloadable clips the footage is (sense of speed is amazing) - and the commentary lap and different camera angles are great to watch.

I didnt even notice much of an accent - must be good audio editing

Must be a good xmas pressie for trackday / scooby drivers.

really is ace DVD!!

Thanks John!

Thanks for the review Phil, really pleased you enjoyed it.

Diesel has the patience of a saint, doing the audio was the most challenging part for me, far more dificult than driving at 150MPH. It was very alien sitting in an audio studio with a set of headphones on with Diesel in my ear saying "project like cat deely"

Coincidently, I was planning to post here to ask if such a vid existed. I normally don't bother looking in the shop these days now that I'm over the pond.

John, do you ship to Canada through Scoobyshop? Or should I just email video@ontracknurburgring.com as it says in the shop? I assume it'll cost a bit more than a quid for postage.

Hi Jerome.

We have produced a version for the USA/Canada/Japan market. They use a different TV format to the UK called NTSC rather than PAL so it needs a diferent DVD.

Postage and packaging to Canada is £2.27

Send me a mail on the above address and i'll send you the ordering info.

cheers
john

Diesels studio must be possesed by Cat, the EQ system was working overtime to fix that one.
