Default ??any ideas??

RB5 MY99

Due a service, booked for a couple of weeks time.

Clutch does need replacing.

Question.

Noticed when driving the car on Sunday there's a vibration coming from the engine area that i can feel through the steering wheel.

It's only when i'm in a gear pulling away.

Any gear when pulling away i can feel the vibration, foot off the gas and it stops, put the clutch down and it stops, free wheel in neutral with clutch up and i can't notice it.

The gearbox oil is fine.

Engine oil was a bit low 2 weeks ago so i topped it up. now it's a bit high but been that high before.

Any ideas??

Thanks Adam

Guess you all have no idea!!!

Could it be a drive shaft? Think it might be the drivers side one.

Flywheel judder?...try this...slowly press the clutch pedal in bit by bit(with engine on)...if you feel a vibration on the pedal its defo the flywheel.

Only feel the vibration when in gear and speeding up.

Can now hear a scrapping noise, more when turning wheel right slightly.

Think it could be a drive shaft.

How much ££££ should i be looking to spend getting it done at a subaru garage?
