Need to shorten the TMIC outlet and the throttle body pipe about 12 mm each, modify the alloy pipes under the TMIC to avoid the bulkhead ( if like a STiV TMIC), make up brackets to fit to WRX 93 mounting points, get a Samco hose set for turbo so you can reuse the existing recirc dump valve in current position, blank off the on-tmic dump valve hole with gasket and plate, and see if it fits!

I got an STiV item already modified, costs but fitted pretty easy. If you need to get the mods done yourself, may cost a lot and do you KNOW what mods the pipes etc. need?

Oh yeah, best to try a jap tmic not a similar UK tmic, as the mounts seem different again depending on year!

Just buy a Hybrid FMIC, it's a similar price, slightly more messing about and probably a better improvement than an uprated TMIC

£80 plus "shorten the TMIC outlet and the throttle body pipe about 12 mm each, modify the alloy pipes under the TMIC to avoid the bulkhead ( if like a STiV TMIC), make up brackets to fit to WRX 93 mounting points, get a Samco hose set for turbo so you can reuse the existing recirc dump valve in current position, blank off the on-tmic dump valve hole with gasket and plate" which will cost you £££'s unless you have your own machine shop.

Fair do's £80 is cheap, but it's gonna be nearer £200 by the time you've got it all sorted and fitted and if it's an 03 WRX TMIC you're fitting, the gains are going to be minimal. A bit of patience and another £300 will get you a solution that will support more future mods ('cos I know you've got the modding bug )

It's only my opinion of course, but if you're going to do it, do it right first time.

Look for a Hybrid off Harvey's group buy 3 or those who are getting rid of them due to plan changes, should be around £400 IIRC?

As Notorious Rev says, much more scope for bigger mods!
