Default Best/cheapest uppipe (MY02) +?

As title, not a lot in it but Magnex looks ok at £100, any other out there that I should consider or if anyone has one....

Daz.

I know the standard is referred to as a precat pipe but is there actually anything in it that restricts flow?

...can't really compare 'em because I've only tried one.

But I was VERY impressed with quicker spool up time after fitting the scoobysport uppipe to my MY02 . (There may be some still knocking about second hand now scoobysport has closed)

cheers
Dave

Daz / Dave

Thank you for the recommendation

For your information, the scoobysport exhaust system is still available following the relaunch of ScoobySport under new management.

Please see www.scoobysport.com for more information.

All the best

Simon

I had the Scoobysport Janspeed up-pipe. It was expensive but a perfect fit and you don't want to have to go back to it!

Buy new gaskets with it too.

when I was in this position I went for a something different to the norm - after my remap I did get around 25 lbs torque extra with equal length manifold - this comes with the up pipe

In an effort to bring Impreza owners the very best in performance for your vehicle whilst keeping the costs down POWERSTATION are please to offer a fully polished stainless steel equal length header! Designed to fit ALL Impreza turbos (WRX/STi) these headers will give around 25lbs/ft of torque across the entire rev range. In 'driving' terms this offers a crisp throttle response, faster pickup, increased smoothness and overall driveability.

We still make the orginal up pipe but with double slip joint in the middle , that allows it to move slighty with the heat expansion and takes any stress out of that section of exhaust.

I replace mine(my01) with catless from another subi.
Perfect fit no leaks cracks etc & costs next to nothing.
Do a search because so far no 1 has been able to record any power gains between catless OEM Vs aftermarket uppipe!!!!
