I think I have an illness.....
Almost every day of the week, I want a different car
I look through the ads on the forums and on Autotrader and cannot help myself.
As you may know, my RB5 is currently for sale, and already I'm thinking about what car to get next even though it'll be at least 6 months away.....
The cars that I consider are, in no particular order.....
P1 - I feel that after 4 Scooby's (MY96 WRX, MY00 UK, MY99 RB5, MY03 STi PPP) I really should own a P1 at some point.
WR1 - when they start appearing second hand
E46 M3 - prices between £25-£30k now... mmmmmmmmmmm
Ford Focus RS - don't really know why, just something about them
Evo VI - like the P1, a bit of an icon
BMW 330ci convertible - for the pimp in me!
TVR - what am I on?
I should just be bloody sensible and get a Mondeo!
or a 22B!

Anyone else like me, or are you all satisfied with your rides?

I often wonder what other cars would be like to own but am more than hapy with my P1 - it still turns heads wherever you go.
From that list of yours I wouldn't consider the Beemers (too common) or the TVR (unreliable) or the Ford (Ford...)
I'd definately consider an EVO VI or VII - I think a red VI Tommi Mak with rally stripes would be the best one to go for - very exclusive and looks fantastic - or a 22B - has to be the ultimate.
What about an Elise or a VX220 turbo??
Have fun thinking though and trawling the websites

Always on the lookout to change. New day brings a new thought on what to get. Skyline R34, T25, M3 and now seeing the E8 MR makes me even more sure that the Scoob is not for me, although it'll have to do until the end of the year.

I think i may be right in saying that nearly all people who come to this site are not filthy rich in cash or flush enough to even run a car like say a gallardo or a murcielago, though how i would much prefer these cars over my booboo can't be put into words. Everyone everywhere always wants something more so here it is.What top 5 would you have? 1. Aston Martin Vanquish. 2. Ferrari 575m. 3. F40. 4. Detomasa Pantera. 5.Enzo are spelling mistakes excluded, my picture of a type of heaven.
Although I've only just arrived at Scooby WRX ownership after 4 years with Renaults.......
I think my next will have to be a dark red metallic Evo VII or a Black STi...
Top of my wish list is the road-going Lancia 037 Rallye. I've never actually seen one in the flesh let alone driven one, but the pics I've seen look fantastic.

Changed my WRX for an My02 Sti and really wanted an Evo.

Dumped theMy03 after 6 months and got an Evo 8.
Some of my excuses for not buying an Evo were pitiful:
insurance
mpg
driveability
All a load of tosh in the real world.

I have on average changed my car every year, and to be honest its cost me a fortune! I'm currently driving a mondeo after selling my MY03 WRX PPP after attempts to break into my house for the keys got a bit beyond a joke. I think the WRX was the only car I've had to date where I was happy with it and only changed due to circumstances rather than actually wanting to.
I've only had the mondeo 2 months and already I'm looking for my next car. The only thing is I need to move house and get a secure parking area before I will consider anything half-decent so it could be a while off before I'm back with an Evo or scoob.

I've had 5 different cars in the last 2 years - 2 Evo's, 2 Scoob's and a Seat. I've still got the Seat and one of the Scoob's and I can't honestly say, that while in any other car I've had (including my P1 & Evo VII & VIII), I've always wanted the next (cos the grass is always greener as they say)!!!
But this cars changed it all. Apart from occasionally wanting a Skyline (but knowing I don't like driving them), my SpecC has done the trick for me

How could you possibly not want one of these new MR Evo VIII's ?
