Are the bug eye's looking better these days ?

It seems to me as these models were made for such a short time, they stand out more. I almost find myself noticing them more than other scoobies.

The STi's actually look good. Maybe it was the shock of the change that made people dislike them.
What do you think ?

I do agree, but they must have the front light conversion either PIAA or STI
i have an MY01 PPP blue black Mira with PIAA and as you say it stands out form the crowd

 

i used to hate em but now theres a few modded ones about they are starting to look very nice!

totally agree gary, if its a choice between blob or bug, it deffo the bug, they now look very aggressive to me, as said above, i couldnt stand them at first but theyve grown on me over the blob

actually there's a black bug-eyed STi that's a regular at Asda Horwich which looks mint - for rarity value I think they're cool.

Prefer the blob though I reckon

 

I still prefer the blob (I am biased), but an S202 would be nice.

 

I have an STI7 (MY02 to save confusion) Type UK with the Prodrive styling and I think it looks equally as good as the later models which somehow look a bit 'softer' and not as aggressive ? But this is probably a biased opinion. I like the bigger '03' air scoop - but I want to keep the bodywork standard as you don't see many 02 Prodrive Style's about.

 

I like the Blobeye, But i would'nt swap it for this

I have an STi V9 (MY03 JDM car to keep people happy ) and prefer the lights on mine over the earlier cars, the shape does grow on you though
