We're running and Auto. It's a decent car for it's type. Comfortable, realtively good handling and the interior is better than a WRX.
Fuel economy sucks though...and a WRX wagon is quicker and a more sporting drive.
If it were to be my only car I'd be looking at something differnt..a 3 series estate to be exact...but as a 'family' car to compliment our 'fun' car it's great.

MPG is around the 27 mark(on ours). As an all round family car it's hard to beat. It's quick enough to be useful on the road(great Q car(think Audi A4 1.8T quick) ) but big and comfy enough to lap up long distances.

Just been out in ours with another m8 and his XT(forrester mini meet) and it's superb in the snow and the heated seats make it a real nice place to be. Way more stable in snow than either my old 5 door or STI.

Go test drive one, and see what you think. Me? I reckon the best of it's kind below 20K and IMHO the best all round car Subaru make.

Don't do tricky maths so MPG I can't say...but for 'round town driving we are lucky to get 220 miles per 45 litres, which is the same as the MY03 STIPPP we traded for it.

I normally get around 320 miles out of a tank on mine, which is about when the light comes on. Unlike my previous Imprezas the light actually comes on at a gauge level of just under 1/8. Also the guage seems to be a lot more linear than I'm used to.
