I did a search on this, but couldn't find anything related, so I must just be a bit stupid, but bear with me!

I beleive you don't get any number '13's when Subaru run limited editions. I realise the whole 'unlucky 13' thing, but does anyone know why Subaru chose not to sell any, when other manufacturers do?

Also, does the 13th car sit in a shed somewhere or do they make a 13th car and just badge it as number 14?

 

And YES, before you ask, I DO have too much time on my hands!

 

You won't find developers giving a house the number 13 either! It limits the market!

I had a limited edition model Impreza once, number 13, I sliced my fingers off with the scalpel, the paint melted the plastic, when I turned the steering wheel the wheels fell off and to top it all the cardboard box it came in self combusted!!

i believe there was a no.13 22b which was imported to America and later disassembled. ALLEGEDLY

it's a point of interest as it means a limited run of 1000 cars is actually 999 as the car have 1001/1000!!

does anyone ahve any further info?

i heard they start at 0 (and maybe more than one 0) and always miss 13, i think i read it on the sidc faq
