MY00 to MY03

Went from a UK2000 to a 03 WRX and the diffrence is night and day. Although the 2000 was mad, hairy and feels faster but isn't. The new interior is excellent, great seats, ****e stereo, nice coloured dials and thermometer gauge. Engine is more powerful, much smoother delivery and 0-60 times are in the region of 5.6 secs standard form compared with roughly 6 on previous 2000. Buy it now !!!!!!!!

From MY00 to WRX03:
IMHO it's much better car all around, easier to drive, smoother, faster on corners (although softer with much roll), less fuel consumption (I think this is important too), better interior etc
Only cons are rear spoiler (GT spoiler is better) and arches that are much wider from the factory wheels so have in mind the extra money you need for uprated spoiler and other rims (18 my choice with lower offset to mate with the car)!

I went from 95 wrx(import) to 03 wrx(uk) ...
slower ,doesn't go as well around corners as well .I did love the old girl ......BUT .......
I wouldn't change the 03 for anything .Good thing about a standard wrx is there is loads you can do to it

I've gone from MY00 Wagon Tek 2.5 to MY03 STI8 Prodrive.
1. 6 speed quickshift gearbox takes some serious getting used to!
2. Seats are unsuppotive in the twisties.
3. Much more refined all round.
4. Goes like stink but deceivingly so.
On balance the MY00 is more raw and better feel/feedback whereas the 8 is less informative and boy does it demand some respect.
