hi all, maybe u can help with some advice please.

i have a Nreg 95...wrx import.

half decat...baily dump valve...other wise standard engine and ecu.

i have just had an induction kit fitted this week end and now the car cuts out everynow and again as i accelerate hard...

i have taken off the airbox...and the other black box ( not the maf) and put a joiner pipe inbetween the maf and the air intake..there is also a smaller pipe that was attched to the "black box" that i have linked into the joiner pipe as well..

have i done this right?
we did initially put a piper X filter on that odd tube but it seemed to let to much air in and wouldnt let the car tick over at all...so we joined it to the main intake.

it runs fine but everynow and then as i put my foot down the power cuts in and out..and feels terrible? almost like a car when it runs out of fuel..

It could be overboost fuel cut, but it could also be the fuelling is off. Fit a boost gauge and AFR meter and don't boot it again until you have them on.

You are looking for it to run standard boost and show rich on full throttle - someone else with this model will advise how much boost, but it is not much - somewhere approx between 11 and 13 PSI IIRC.
