Yeah, it was pretty slippery all the way round with quite a bit of surface water in places. We were sideways most of the way round in the Sierra (twin turbo 2.9 with 4WD) and it was great fun
but definitely slower than in the dry.
I think it was his brother in law there on his bike too wasn't it? He came off as well but thankfully was OK - I think he had the biggest ***** of the day going out on a bike
in that weather.

Do you happen to know what exhaust system the 22b is running? It sounded fantastic and you could hear him going all the way round the back
Not sure how he passed the 105db day ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

You may not all look in the track events/national events section so ........
On behalf of a friend - just to let you know there are still some (20) spaces left for a Goodwood Track Day on Sat 29th November. Cost is £160.00 - noise level 105db - 5 cars at a time. Call Dave Paul on 07790 878835. If you have never driven on this track before it is fantastic - fast and sweeping and is a good one for your first track day.

He also has days for next year on 17th April & 27th November http://freeserve.com/davepaulrsoc

If you are taking part, I think sign on & noise test is usually around 8ish. Racing starts at 9ish. You'd have to check with Dave Paul on the number above to confirm exact times. Racing stops at about 4ish at this time of year. They usually break from about 1-2 for lunch.

Does anyone know if the guy in the Classic DBM Scoob is ok?? For those who weren't there, he rolled it and wrote it off at Madgwick - I understand his glasses shattered and he went off to hospital with glass in his eye. I saw the car being carted off (completely written off) and his brother-in-law (?) taking out the stereo but would like to know if he is ok??
Jo
ps. We were there in the XR4i Sierra on Saturday (Scoobs tucked up at home)

I hope he's ok . I tried to follow this guy around at the last day - he's fast with excellent lines!
I was supposed to go out on sat. but the weather was bloomin' awful .
I spoke to him on sat. morning before i left and he said it was really slippery - he was only getting 100 in parts of the track where he can normally do 125 ! !
Shame the car's had it (luckily he's got a silver classic as well!)
