I think you mean 95 .... either way how many miles have you been using this for? .... i suggest you change to Super unleaded as a minimum asap and see for yourself.

Thumbs up

Get some Optimax into its tank, Dont use anything less than that, if you are then use some Octane boost to bring the octane level up.

Unless that is you dont mind having an Engine re-build then carry on using Normaal 95Ron Unleaded

You mean to tell me there is other types of petrol!!! Always thought Optimax was the only one available. Seriously folks use this, it is guaranteed to be 98 ron. I rang them they said "it is at least 98 ron, and usually up to 98.6 ron. So as the Don Estelle used to say "get some in"

Chelmsford being the size of place it is, I'm sure you'll find plenty of places selling Super or Optimax. Any Shell garage, vast majority of BP, even Sainsbury's...

The nearest Shell garage (Optimax) to you is the one at Rayleigh Weir, if there is one closer i would be pleased to know as i spend a lot of time driving to Chelmsford and always make a detour to this garage.

LB4 it looks like Chelmsford has upset Shell at some point. There is a ring of 10 garages with Chelmsford in the exclusion zone in the middle.

OPTIMAX NEAR CHELMSFORD

Wink

Nice to hear some people here are from Chemlsford, not a bad place to live at all, quite like it!

I used to go to the Esso Station near the Chrysler garage. But as we are talking about Optimax I think if you are travelling from Chelmsford I think the Shell station in Heybridge is closer than Raleigh Weir...

Flat Eric .. yeah does look like some deliberate plot to keep Shell garages out of Chelmsford
