Anyone know what the 0-60 time is for a standard RA

 

WRX Type RA's from Nov 92 to Sep 94 were 240ps, Oct 94 to Aug 96 they were 260ps and Sep 96 to Jun 2000 they were 280ps so it all depends on the year of the car ohh and thats not including the WRX STi RA of Oct 94 to Jul 95 which was 275ps ...confused yet ?? i am but i think it safe to say they are quick
Autocar did 4.6sec 0-60 in a WRX STi Version III which were made between Sep 96 and Aug 97 and the RA's weigh less .

Less than 5 to 60 and less than 13 to 100.

i did a 4.5sec (280bhp uk turbo) at a timed event (had to change to 3rd to reach an actual 60mph too), so reckon your RA should be in the high 3's???

 

I'm sure I read 4.2 seconds 0-60 for an RA somewhere?

 

is'nt the gear ratio dependent on what the orignal buyer asked for as in close and very close so they could very from car to car.

Gearing on mine is pretty close eg.

4th gear 103mph @ 7,600rpm
5th gear 70mph @ 3500 (20mph/1000rpm )

 

Performance car magazine tested the TypeR's 0-60 at 4.3 secs, and assuming your RA has the same close ratio box then you should be in that ball park.
